Refund Policy
At Forjato, we want you to be genuinely happy with your purchase. If you're not fully satisfied, we offer a clear, fair and transparent refund policy to put things right.
1. Change of Mind — Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your product, without needing to give a reason. Once you've told us you'd like to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.
To be eligible for a refund under this right:
- The product must be in resalable condition, with no signs of use beyond what's reasonably needed to check it works;
- It must be returned in its original packaging, including all accessories, labels, manuals and items it came with.
How to request it:
- Email info@forjato.com with your full name, order number and the reason for your return.
- Once we've reviewed your request, we'll send you a prepaid returns label so you can send the item back at no cost to you.
2. Faulty or Defective Products
If your product arrives faulty or develops a manufacturing defect, you're protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Within 30 days of receiving your order, you're entitled to a full refund if the product is faulty. After this 30-day period, you're first entitled to a repair or replacement — and to a refund if that doesn't resolve the issue.
If your product carries a manufacturer's warranty, that cover continues to apply for its full term, separately from these statutory rights.
To help us resolve things quickly, please also send:
- A detailed description of the fault;
- Photos or a video showing the problem.
How to request it:
- Email info@forjato.com with your full name, order number and details of the fault.
- Your product will go through a quality assessment.
- Once the fault is confirmed, we'll process your refund via your original payment method, or arrange a replacement — whichever you prefer.
3. How Refunds Are Processed
Refunds are issued back to the payment method used for your original order:
Card Payments (Shopify Payments)
Your refund will be returned to your original card within 7 working days of us receiving and assessing the returned product. How long it takes to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer.
PayPal
Your refund will be returned to your PayPal account within 7 working days of us receiving and assessing the returned product.
4. Return Costs
Change of Mind or Manufacturing Defect
Returns are free of charge. We'll send you a valid prepaid returns label to use.
Returns Requested After the 14-Day Cancellation Period
Return postage costs will be your responsibility.
5. Packaging Your Return
We recommend using the original packaging to keep your product safe in transit. If you no longer have it, please use a sturdy, well-protected box instead.
